We are collecting any items to distribute to families in need. Donations may be dropped off at ESAAA/CAA Hare Valley Site or Accomac Head Start Site on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Thank you for helping those in need.
Medicare Open Enrollment October 15th-December 7th During this time you can review your MEDICARE PRESCRIPTON DRUG COVERAGE and compare with this year’s available plans to make sure you are getting the best quality for the cost. Trained counselors will be available to provide one-on-one individual reviews beginning Thursday, October 15th. The Eastern Shore Area Agency on Aging/Community Action Agency is in need of Volunteers to assist with the VolunteerIncome Tax Assistance Program (VITA). Learn to prepare taxes and make a difference in your community at the same time. How can you make a difference? Simple. Volunteer to help your community by preparing taxes free of charge with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). You will receive training to provide free tax help for low-to-moderate income families who need assistance preparing their tax returns. As a volunteer, you will join the thousands of others who each year prepare millions of tax returns at thousands of tax sites nationwide. We are following COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines.

Our two Senior Centers, Hare Valley Center and Mary N. Smith Cultural Enrichment Center, have reopened. The centers will operate under specific COVID-19 guidelines. Centers will be open Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Click on the calendar for the monthly activities.
