The Project Head Start Program is a federally funded program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We serve the entire Eastern Shore from the Chesapeake Bridge Tunnel to the Virginia, Maryland border. We serve 218 children and families of both Accomack and Northampton counties. Project Head Start is a comprehensive program of child development with a primary focus on school readiness skills.
